Welcome to Owl and Oak Therapeutic Massage.

One hour appointments are available for those who are seeking to relax or for my clients coming regularly for general maintenance after serious issues have been resolved.

All others are encouraged to book a minimum of 90 minutes. I am able to accommodate requests for up to 4 hours. For new clients, this ensures I have time to better understand their needs. For all clients, the longer the session, the more issues I can address. In these sessions, you can expect an integrative therapeutic massage that may include:

  • Silicone Cupping,
  • Vacuum therapy,
  • Hot Stones,
  • Essential oils, or
  • Other massage tools as required

At Owl & Oak, every session offers a full range of integrative work that is custom made for each client’s needs at that particular time. A session may include any of the following results as requested:

  • Relief or alleviation of pain, numbness and tingling including in feet, hands, neck and from headaches
  • Relaxation and revitalization of your body
  • Reduced stress, anxiety, and tension
  • Increased range of motion in joints
  • Assistance with lymphatic movement
  • Softening and reduction of scar restrictions
  • Release of adhesions

Please note: The age of joint movement restrictions, scars, pain, lymphatic issues, etc., does not change the fact that these issues can be addressed and improved, or in many cases, resolved.

Appointments over 2 hours must be booked by texting or calling me directly at 828-277-7672. Please leave a message if calling, as I am only one person and often unable to answer the phone. I will return your call as quickly as possible. Diane began her interest in massage and alternative medicine in her 20’s. Throughout the subsequent years, she studied, researched and practiced the healing arts, including: Swedish massage; trigger point therapy; clinical massage therapy; lymphatic drainage assistance; scar tissue management; vacuum cupping therapy; hot stone therapy; Reiki; the emotional and health applications of essential oils; and is currently in the process of becoming certified in craniosacral therapy. She truly enjoys working with those who desire assistance in addressing their chronic or acute pain, range of motion issues, scars, adhesions, stress, muscle-related breathing restrictions, fatigue, anxiety, grief, sleep issues, brain fog, etc., through integrative massage techniques which guide their body and mind to a place where they can be calm, peaceful, rested and clear minded.
