If you are booking with me for the first time and are in need of work other than a relaxing massage, I highly recommend you schedule for at least 90 minutes to ensure that as many of your needs are addressed as possible. You may be surprised at what can be accomplished during one of these sessions. - Therapeutic massage is the manipulation of the soft tissue to bring about generalized improvements in health, such as relaxation or improved sleep, or specific physical benefits, such as relief of muscular aches and pains, limited range of motion, lymphatic assistance, scar tissue softening, TMJ work, etc. This is an integrative massage session which may include vacuum therapy, hot stones or essential oils, as required, alongside of traditional therapeutic massage techniques.

Seated Massage

This is a fully clothed, seated massage, created for those who have limited time or are uncomfortable with traditional massage. I will focus on specific issues required by client or offer broader, general work, as requested.

LMBT# 20805 -

Diane began her interest in massage and alternative medicine in her 20’s. Throughout the subsequent years, she studied, researched and practiced the healing arts, including: Swedish massage; trigger point therapy; clinical massage therapy; lymphatic drainage assistance; scar tissue management; vacuum cupping therapy; hot stone therapy; Reiki; the emotional and health applications of essential oils; and is currently in the process of becoming certified in craniosacral therapy. She truly enjoys working with those who desire assistance in addressing their pain, stress, fatigue, anxiety, grief, sleep issues, etc., through integrative massage techniques which guide their body and mind to a place where they can be calm, peaceful, rested and clear minded. In addition, if desired by client, she helps them to better understand how they can work with their bodies to reverse some if not all of the damage caused by life and start or continue their journey to better health and well being. - diane@hawkridgetherapeutic.com
